Surf Life Physio is a general musculoskeletal Physiotherapy practice. Nick and Troy have 20 years experience providing Physiotherapy to surf sports and continue to be the consultant Physios to the Australian surf team, the Nutri Grain Ironman series and Surf Life Savings High Performance Squad.
The practice specialises in Surf and water based activities. Nick and Troy have both been active and competitive in a number of water sports including surf life saving, surfing, swimming, ironman and triathlon which gives them a great understanding of the demands of these sports and the mechanism of injuries from these activities.

Byron Bay TRIThe surflife Physio team continues to practice what they preach with a large team heading south this weekend to take on the Byron Bay Triathlon. Look out for Troy slogging it out in the old blokes category while we have a couple of teams and some other individuals flying the flag for our practice. No doubt lots of orange shirts and hats getting around. NOOSA SWIM Nick has restored faith that he really is number 1 with a win in the 1km Noosa Ocean swim last weekend. There is no doubt if anyone knows a swimmers shoulder its a swimmer and knowing he is still doing the training to get these results means he understands the sport as an athletes and as a health professional. Congratulations Troy and Nick for their selection on behalf of Surf Life Saving Australia and Royal Life Saving Society Australia as Team Physiotherapists for the World Championships (Rescue 2012) in Adelaide later this year. | |
New ProductsSurflife Physio is proud to announce a new partnership with Bsc compression garments. As an aid to recovery and the management of injuries compression garments are a standard part of the athletes kit. Bsc have been doing alot of R&D with surf life saving and have recently become the official supplier to the high performance squad of surf life saving Australia we are very keen to build this new partnership and contribute our expertise to further develop these products for surf sports competitions.
